What the Forest Management Standard Does
The SFI 2022 Forest Management Standard promotes sustainable forestry based on 13 Principles, 17 Objectives, 41 Performance Measures and 114 Indicators. These requirements include measures to protect water quality, biodiversity, wildlife habitat, species at risk and Forests with Exceptional Conservation Value.
What the Forest Management Standard Covers
The SFI 2022 Forest Management Standard applies to any Certified Organization that owns or has management authority for forestlands.
Geographic Application of the Forest Management Standard
The SFI 2022 Forest Management Standard applies to organizations in the United States and Canada.
