Head of Mitigation Division and Assistant Director
I am a Vietnamese environmental specialist and have received my Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences from University of Bonn, Germany in 2012. Currently, I am working as the Assistant Director in the Center of Techonology Responding to Climate Change (CliTech), Vietnam Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment (MONRE) and focusing to Climate Change Adaptation. I am looking for an opportunity to prove my abilities and to transfer the global technologies for improving environmental and life conditions in several developing countries (particularly in Vietnam).
Since June 2009, I had the chance to interact with several projects related to sustainable development and I enjoyed my work and had a good experience as a local specialist from this endeavor. Besides, my intercultural experiences and Asian-understandings can be beneficial for working with the local people.
The experience from Germany, and my understanding of the Asian people, I believe that I can complete my work and contribute some benefits for my country, especially the poor people and vulnerable communities. If the weADAPT.org gives me a chance to join for developing the international network in the Adaptation Sector, I think all experts who are having the interests of Climate Change can share information and knowledge each other and have more powerful to adapt all challenges.
