Amit Prakash

I am working as Project Officer (Environment & Climate Change) with the state government at the State Disaster Management Authority in Bihar, India. I have recently started looking at the corelation between climate change and extreme events and appropriate mitigation strategy needed to adapt to the climate change.
I hold a Bachelor of Technology from National Institute of Technology (Raj), India and a Masters degree in Disaster Management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, (Mumbai) India. I have worked on Information and Communication Technologies, Supply Chain Management, Disaster Logistics ERP and Capacity Building for DRR.
My area of interests are Climate Change and Extreme Evenrts, ICT, Research and DRR.
