Dr Dadhich, is the founding Director of Mega Zing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. which focuses on energy, climate change, analytics and education. Earlier he worked as a Director in Deloitte India heading the clean energy technologies & energy efficiency(2011 to 2014) . He was with TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi) from 1990 to 2011, where he worked as senior fellow. Dr Dadhich joined TERI in the industrial energy division and later worked in the areas of climate change, energy policy and regulatory divisions. Prior to joining TERI he worked in chemical and petrochemical plants for 11 years. He has now started his own venture, MZSPL.
Dr. Dadhich has worked in several sustainability assignments for fertilizer & chemical sectors. He has also worked on ICT applications and services towards environment sustainability. He has also contributed to UNDP’s Asian Human Development report on technology.
Dr Dadhich’s rich process engineering experience and advanced knowledge of energy technologies provides him the capability to work in the areas of climate change and economics of mitigation. He has also been associated with key national level energy modelling studies like the “National Energy Map: Technology Vision 2030” for the principal scientific advisor to the government of India and in the preparation of the technical document for “National Action Plan on Climate Change” for the Government of India.
Dr. Dadhich works extensively on distributed energy systems, renewable energy hybrid systems and smart grids. He has been also involved in three industrial technology transfer agreements: (a) Great Lakes Corporation, USA (b) LURGI, Germany and (c) US Synthetic Corporation, USA. He was also involved in 3 technology developments and pilot plant studies which are now being commercialized.
Dr Dadhich has carried out consultancy assignments in several countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Some of countries are Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Malaysia, China, DPRK, Thailand, Kuwait etc.
Dr Dadhich was a member of TERI University’s academic council and also the Head of the Centre for Policy and Regulatory division. He was also a member of the International Energy Agency’s Greenhouse Gas RD&D Executive Committee (1999 to 2011) and has served on the Government of India’s Environmental Impact Assessment committee. He is also a Lead Author in the AR5 (Fifth Assessment Report ) of IPCC. He has a B.Tech. (Andhra University) in chemical engineering, Ph.D (IIT Bombay) in Energy Systems Engineering. He also has a Post Graduate diploma in management from the All India Management Association, New Delhi.
