CDKN Ethiopia Program Manager
Tesfaye is a certified water specialist with an extensive working experience in implementing water supply and renewable energy turnkey projects in Ethiopia and Djibouti. Tesfaye is currently working as the Project Manager with the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) in supporting the government of Ethiopia; particularly the Ministry of Finance and Economic Cooperation in accessing and channeling Climate Finance, including leading the preparation of pipeline proposals that will be submitted to the Green Climate Fund and the Adaptation Fund for funding. Prior to joining the CDKN team, Tesfaye was working with the USAID as a lead advisor to the Public Health Infrastructure Directorate of the Federal Ministry of Health in implementing the Health Sector Development Programmes (HSDP) IV. Tesfaye also has an experience of implementing turnkey projects that were funded by the GIZ to the Ministry of Energy & Water in the Republic of Djibouti. His project specific experience include lead advisor, consultant and project manager to the various ministries of the government of Ethiopia and Djibouti.
