How do I cite content from weADAPT or its microsites?

If the article/case study is specific to weADAPT or its microsites (i.e. there is no associated publication, only the article/case study entry), we ask you and your networks to acknowledge the source in the following style:

  • Author or authors. The surname is followed by first initials.
  • Date published – you can find this at the top of any article/case study.
  • Title (in italics).
  • Publisher. Where there is a corporate author, the publisher and author may be the same.
  • Date viewed.
  • Web address <in angled brackets>.

An example for an Article would be:

For formal articles published in peer-reviewed journals, or where there is a Featured Download, please use the article’s own citation. This is often included as a ’Suggested Citation’ in the bottom of the article.

Please note that the text in weADAPT articles and case studies that are associated with uploaded publications very closely reflect the content of that publication; however, this text has often been edited from its original form to create a summary. If you wish to quote text, please refer to the original text in the publication, rather than the text in the weADAPT page of the article/case study.
