On September 30, 2019, Ibbaka published an article about their work on building a competency model for Adaptation to Climate Change, which is part of the Adaptation Learning Network project.

Here is an excerpt:

“One of the most important pieces of work going on at Ibbaka is our project with the ResiliencebyDesign University(RdB) team at Royal Roads. This team, led by Dr. Robin Cox, has been commissioned to design a competency model for adaptation to climate change as part of the Adaptation Learning Network project. The work is being sponsored by Natural Resources Canada as part of their Building Regional Adaptation Capacity and Expertise grants, and the BC Climate Action Secretariat.

In their early work the RdB team found significant interest in building competencies for adaptation to climate change among BC professionals”. | Read the full story “Architecting the Competencies for Adaptation to Climate Change Open Competency Model” on Ibbaka website
